We attended KSM Fall meeting in Gyeongju, Korea in the middle of November 2019. You may not familiar with Gyeongju city itself. We were so until we visited there. When you come to the city, we were surprised that there were plenty of traditional buildings. Gyeongju was the capital of Silla Kingdom till 10th century. You can find many historical heritages in various places. If you have visited big cities several times before and also like Korean culture and history, you must go there! There was much better than we thought.

We attended The 60th JSHPST(Japan Society of High Pressure Science and Technology) Conference in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan in late October 2019. You may Know “Sapporo” as beautiful northern part of Japan with gourumet food. Or maybe gourgeous snow in various famous ski and snow board slopes like “Niseko.” Yes! These are definitely attractive points of Hokkaido, but Sapporo has more opportunities about this field of researches than you expected.

We attended China 2019 EM National Conference at Conference center at Fengda International Hotel, He Fei City, An Hui Province, China in the middle of October 2019. You may not be familiar with Chinese microscopy market, but this is one of the biggest markets in the world. He Fei is high-tech city; every building is sophisticated and atmosphere is stimulating. There is not so famous yet comparing big cities, but it may good to visit if you have already visited those metropolitan cities before.

We attended GAA Technical Forum in Richmond, VA, USA in early October, 2019. You may not be familiar with American history, but Richmond is one of the most important and historical places in US history, we believe. Comparing your country, you may say US does not have much or longer history, however it is not too short and boring, either. Richmond is good place to see; City is not so crowded close to many big cities, and has mild weather. Especially if you are already fed up with big and touristic cities in America, you should try to be there next time.

We attended 53th annual meeting of PTHC in Gdansk, Poland in the middle of September. You are might not familiar with this place, but Gdansk is one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, we suppose. Gdansk is on the Baltic sea and very nice place to get fresh seafood and exploring nature part. There are several historical area too. If you have been to northern part of Poland before, we recommend you will visit there next time, except winter time.

We exhibited M & M(Microscopy and Microanalysis) in Portland, OR, USA in early August, 2019. This is the 4th time to show our products at this kind of conference in America. Luckily our knives are getting popular step by step. We feel small, but good waves from potential customers’ feedback. Of course our Sym Knife is not so famous yet, however where there’s a will there’s a way, you know.

We exhibited our diamond knives (SYM Knife®) at KSM (Korean Society of Microscopy) annual spring conference that was held in Pyeong Chang, Korea. Spring conference is one of the biggest event among EM reseachers. This time we wanted to introduce our MGH (Multi Grid Holder) for Korean researchers.

We attended 59th annual meeting of the Japan Society of High Pressure Science and Technology in Okayama, Japan in the end of November. You might have not heard this place before, Okayama is about 200 km west from Osaka. Okayama is on the inland sea and very nice place to get fresh seafood and exploring nature part. There are several historical area too. If you have been to Japan several times before, we recommend you will visit there next time.
