News

Our office and factory will be closed from Friday, April 28th to Sunday, May 1st and from Tuesday, May 3rd to Thursday, May 5th following Japanese calendar.
It is part of national holidays in late spring and we call it “Golden week.” You may be unfamiliar with these holidays but a lot of Japanese companies take off in this season.
If you need any order such like diamond anvils, DACs and diamond stylus and etc. in hurry, it would be helpful if you tell us your delivery requirements in advance.

We will operate on Monday, May 2nd and Friday, May 6th as usual.
If you need further information, please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you.

Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) have changed the groups of rolling blackouts and started new schedule since last weekend (March 25th).
Fortunately, our factory is out of its region. Even so, we are trying to turn off the lights and air conditioner as much as we can.
That might be just one small step for one company, but from small beginnings come great things.

Anyway, we can keep producing our products with 100% capacity.
If you order stylus, diamond anvil cell or other diamond products, we will supply them as normal delivery time.
We really hope victims of earthquakes will resume their daily life and every problem will be under control soon.
Let’s live by helping each other!!

for victims of massive earthquake and tsunami in Tohoku area in Japan.
And we support stability and reconstruction in there as much as we can.

And we have not had any electric power shortage, either, so far.
Please let us know if you have any questions or comments.

We will give you a “new face.”

The surface of a single crystal diamond has millions of polishing flaws which can have a huge impact on your experiments.
You can reduce the effect of epitaxial growth and other flaws by our polishing method.
We can also lap CVD diamond if it has a crystal orientation.

At the Monozukuri Taikan Studium 2009 in Makuhari-messe, Chiba Prefecture, Syntek plans to display our products that can produce high pressure.
Especially, we will display our “learning-cell / seed.”
It makes ice from water easily at the room temperature.
It is good kit that explains how to produce high pressure for children or students.
Everybody can try that cell at our booth.
There are many other trial areas in that field.
Why don’t you come there with your kids and enjoy various production with us?

Somebody once said, “Work is the refuge of people who have nothing better to do.”
I wholeheartedly don’t approve of this opinion. I definitely believe good work enriches our lives.
The way I see it, anything in life worth having is worth working for.

You mustn’t forget what work can be physically and mentally stimulating. It gives you a sense of purpose.
And if you keep your mind active, there is less risk of developing dementia.
Working is a way of being part of a community which is also good.
All this may sound like overkill, but it is deadly serious. It is no laughing matter.

I’ll make myself useful to others with diamond. That is the main reason I launched this company in 1978.
Since day one, I have been fired up and been surrounded by many fine members.
I really care a lot about relationships among workers and creativity.
Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision.
The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives.
It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.
I believe the cardinal rule for everyone is to keep an open mind.
Creativity is a tool for breaking through the status quo to change things for the better.
It is also important to have a desire to excel to not settle for second best.

Every noble work at first seems impossible, but enthusiasm begets enthusiasm.
So little done, so much to do. I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past.
Good, better, best, never let it rest.
