Natural stones are better, but man-made (artificial) ones are also OK with us.
We make diamond powders from those ones for using on our grinding machines.
Actually, we call it skive. We need quite a few powders when we polish diamonds.
Unfortunately we cannot pay much money for it, but we have been thinking “3R” that are reuse, reduce and recycle recent years.
As you know, it is much cheaper and earlier to buy diamond powder from manufacture.
Nevertheless, this kind of behavior is one of the most important parts of our future business.

Generally, almost all Japanese companies take a week company-wide summer vacation around in the middle of August, because of our Festival of Souls. We call it “Bon”.
In this festival a variety of foods are offered to the spirits of ancestors, and their repose prayed for.
Usually, many people receive go back to their hometowns then.
Of course some of our employees take their vacation by rotation, but we will not have above company- wide off.
We are open as normal business hour.
Just for information, due to the high volume of orders, some products (diamond stylus, scribe cutter and etc.) are now experiencing some delay in shipping recently.

I visited DRUPA 2012, International Print Media Industry Exhibition that was held in Dusseldorf, Germany from May 3rd to 16th. There is only said to be the world’s largest printing industry exhibition to be held once every 4 years. The size of the venue is just huge and quite a few people in many booths at every hall. In addition, the outdoor venue has stand out, coupled with that drink local beer from the conditions of a country, and showed a surge was just like, such as big festivals.

We ran a booth at NDNC 2011 from May 17th to 20 in “Kunibiki-Messe”, Matsue city, Japan. This is an international conference and NDNC stands for New Diamond and Nano Carbons. This year’s which was 5th and many people came to the place even it was taken place where access is not so easy from every international airport in our country. Actually, I was very surprised and always felt energy from all participants during the meeting. Oh, don’t get me wrong. Matsue is far from metropolises as I told above, but very historic and scenic area. You should visit there if you have enough time in your schedule. Especially, “Izumo-shrine” is one of the most important historical buildings in Japan. Plus, you can get fresh, ambrosial seafood throughout the calendar year, if you want.
