We attended The 60th JSHPST(Japan Society of High Pressure Science and Technology) Conference in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan in late October 2019. You may Know “Sapporo” as beautiful northern part of Japan with gourumet food. Or maybe gourgeous snow in various famous ski and snow board slopes like “Niseko.” Yes! These are definitely attractive points of Hokkaido, but Sapporo has more opportunities about this field of researches than you expected. |

Conference itself was not so big size, however contents were quite good. You probably image Japanese study field is very narrow and also strongly biased toward ultra-high presuure. We say you are right, but you are wrong, too. Unfortunately we did not have much foreigners this time. It might be a nice idea to attend this kind of conference and compare deep points between you and Japanese ones. We believe you will find something new. |
